Woolmark.

Through their extensive network of relationships spanning the international textile and fashion industries, they highlight Australian wool’s position as the ultimate natural fibre and premier ingredient in luxury apparel.

The Woolmark logo is one of the world’s most recognised and respected brands, providing assurance of the highest quality, and representing pioneering excellence and innovation from farm through to finished product.

The Woolmark Company is a subsidiary of Australian Wool Innovation, a not-for-profit enterprise that conducts research, development and marketing along the worldwide supply chain for Australian wool on behalf of about 60,000 woolgrowers that help fund the company.

THE PROJECT

Emma is the grand-daughter of legendary Boonoke Studmaster Basil Clapham and was brought up at Deniliquin in the Riverina district of NSW. Her husband Tom also grew up in the Riverina on a wool, cropping and rice property in Finley.

Both Emma and Tom have a huge love of farming, local produce, wool and agriculture. They have both worked with Woolmark across countless campaigns, events, media partnerships and design collaborations, including a bespoke Brownlow Dress designed by AJE made from 100% Marino Wool.

“Now we have our own sheep I love seeing the process from start to finish, and I have definitely understood the range in quality and fabrics, and I just can’t help but love home grown wool. It’s a beautiful fibre and as Australians we should be very very proud of it.”
